OK… somebody out there who knows better than I do, explain this to me:
About 4 or 5 times this past week I have had to sign into my wordpress dashboard only to be told that the password was wrong. I then had to request a new password to get through. Checked the forum… one person was told to clear their cookies. I hate when I do something to my computer, change some setting somewhere that just totally messes with other things and I can’t figure out what I changed to make the mess. URG!

Update on the letterboxing page and I’m updating my tracker from the It Fits Me page… starting to loose the weight again and starting to eat more variety (when I have the time to fix it).

We have a wonderful day ahead of no appointments to keep and no company coming over…. yeah! Got a replacement dartboard for me and the twinletts yesterday, so maybe we can have some good, no-pressure to get anywhere fun! With M in the background screaming “bull-eye!”

Got a pressure cooker the other day cause I find myself needing a new large pot for pasta, soups and what not… thought a pressure cooker could pull double duty for the same relative price. Guess what?!? I can’t use it on my ceramic top stove because of the way the bottom is shaped. ARG! So my new wishlist is a nice stainless steel stock pot or, and this I think I would be most happy with, but may cost more… a coated cast iron stew pot or dutch oven type deal. Yeah…

Oh, I’m sorry about the cooker. I don’t have one, so I can’t throw out suggestions. I just knew how disappointed I was when we had invested in a glass top stove only to discover (thankfully before it was too late) that I couldn’t use cast-iron on the top. Frustrating how our brilliant plans end up causing us not to have our fun, LOL.

Too late… Did you take the stove back or just not use the cast iron? T and I had this discussion the other day because she too has a ceramic top (which I love for everything else!)… she was told she couldn’t use cast iron because it would scratch the surface, while I was told it was because of the shape of the bottom… hmmmm…
Still have my cast iron… use it in the oven for cornbread occasionaly and nothing else works right for that!
Wish I’d've known that a few months ago–Got rid of mine because I burned stuff in it every time I used it! I just use the big dutch oven and try not to cook so much now! A word of warning–cook over low heat unless you’re constantly stirring it. . .(hey, give that job to s or p. .. )

Actually, we moved! LOL, seriously…our stove died and the ceramic top was very much on sale and oh so what I wanted. I did not know that I couldn’t use my pans until after the purchase. I had others besides cast iron…so I used the cast iron for the oven and the regular pans up top. I was told that because of the way the cast iron handles/absorbs heat, that it would crack the stove’s surface…I never questioned their reasons, and didn’t tempt fate by testing out their theory.
We moved a couple of years ago…and within a month the stove in the new place died. I replaced it with a double oven so I could do more cookin’!

I didn’t know that about ceramic stovetops. I’ve been trying to decide if I want one of those or to have someone fix it so that I can use gas. Not being much of a cook it doesn’t really matter much to me!
