I started doing this on my last blog, and it was really encouraging. So, let me get it under way here! This will be a list of 5 things I accomplished last week, and 5 things I want to accomplish this week. Sometimes there will be some things that don’t get done, and I’ll add some things that I did do that weren’t on the list. You know how that goes, though!

To Do:
- trackstar the remaining two sessions of Renaissance unit
- find and purchase 2 pairs of jazz shoes before the Shelbeyville performance next Friday.
- Take Georgetown and Versailles HSLDA/MIND boxes to their respective libraries.
- get August park letterbox planted (stamp needs carved).
- clean office and go through bills
- make 07/08 Master copies binder and file last years papers.

Do I need to say that I have just totally neglected this page? What was supposed to be an encouragement to get things accomplished has gotten pushed to the back burner in my brain and burnt… forgotten like so many boiled eggs (believe me… burning boiled eggs IS an easy thing to do and it’s not pretty!). At my other blog this was on the front page, so it was a constant reminder. Here, I have to actually make a one-click effort to seek out my encouragement to do chores. Who needs that?
LOL
Anyway… back at it again. It should also go without saying that I HAVE done things in the interim…
- bought one of those pairs of dance shoes, although they weren’t genuine dance shoes. They don’t carry jazz shoes at Walmart anymore. I have a feeling they wil become mine as soon as I can find a pair of black ones, as these are white, so they don’t fit her right.
- got that August letterbox planted and now I need to get September’s and October’s carved, clued and planted.
- need to clean and go through the bills in the office, AGAIN! Will it never stop? hehe
I also, with the help of my Dear Dad, got the ceiling re-hung in my son’s room, rewired our garage and cut down shrubbery and vines that were choking out a wall in my backyard and got them partially taken to the curb for removal. I have had fun bulk cooking with T and making a costume with W. So, while it hasn’t be accounted for here, I have definitly not be slacking too much. And here’s the new list:
- continue and complete brush removal to curb
- decide what to do about exposed water pipe in front, where I dug out an unused and unattractive flower bed in the spring
- clean the downstairs, top to bottom… cleanning out cabinets, purging, dusting, sweeping and mopping cause I want to be able to do bulk cooking here in my kitchen next time, want to be able to put up ALL of the holiday decorations without feeling overwhelmed by the pre-existing mess and so only use the clean corners AND want to be able to have my histroy class over for a Twelvth Day celebration in January (that I hope will be outside as much as inside, but I want to be hospitable all over!)
- weed around mulched beds before it gets too cold and yucky
- divide and conquer in my bulb bed (my lilies didn’t do squat this year cause they’re over crowded ~ I hope)
Now THAT’S and extensive list! Wonder how long it’ll take me to get some or all of it done?
